Wi-Fi Disconnection and Data Transmission
Smartbirds stores data locally during Wi-Fi disconnections and syncs once connected.
If the Wi-Fi connection is lost, the Smartbirds dongle stops transmitting data to the cloud.
What Happens During Wi-Fi Disconnection
- No data is transmitted to the cloud or the app during the disconnection.
- Local storage is used to temporarily save data.
- Data is synced to the cloud once Wi-Fi is restored.
Additional Information
- The total energy consumption can still be calculated accurately because the index is also transmitted.
This helps you maintain data integrity even during network disruptions.
