Alfen EVE Double Charger

Set up your Alfen EVE Double Charger with Smartmaster Pro using these configuration steps.

To ensure a seamless connection between the Alfen EVE Double Charger and Smartmaster Pro, follow these recommended configuration steps. This setup optimizes communication and guarantees reliable performance.

Configuration Tips

  1. Find the Serial Number:

    • Locate the serial number from one of the following:
      • Paper documents supplied with the charger.
      • Identification label on the underside of the charging station.

  2. Enable Static Load Balancing:

    • In ACE Devices Installer, navigate to settings and select:
      • Static Load Balancing for optimized power distribution.

  3. Set Back Office URL:

    • Go to ACE Devices Installer > Back Office URL.
    • Enter the Smartmaster IP as follows:
      ws://X.X.X.X:8834/ocpp

  4. Check Device’s IP Address:

    • Ensure the device’s IP address is in the same network as the Smartmaster for seamless communication.

  5. Configure Meter Value Sample Interval:

    • In ACE Devices Installer > Connectivity > Meter Value, set:
      • Meter Value Sample Interval to 60S for accurate data sampling.

  6. Select Sampled Data for Meter Values:

    • In ACE Devices Installer > Connectivity > Meter Value, configure:
      • Sampled Data 1 = Energy.Active.Import.register
      • Sampled Data 2 = Current.Import
      • Sampled Data 3 = Current.Offered

These settings ensure optimal integration between the Alfen EVE Double Charger and Smartmaster Pro. Proper configuration of the IP address, load balancing, and meter values enhances monitoring and reporting accuracy.
