# Configuring Topology Without Central Measurement

## Smartmaster Pro can be configured without a Communication Unit on the GRID entry.

If you don’t have a **central measurement** but want to **respect the limits of your fuses**, you can configure **Smartmaster Pro** without a Communication Unit on the **GRID entry**.

### How It Works

- The system will **distribute current** according to the specificities of your installation.
- **Only measured assets** will impact the control.

### When to Use This Setup

- Use this configuration when **installation limits are not critical**.
- It’s ideal for sites with **non-critical energy consumption** patterns.

This flexible setup allows for effective current distribution without needing a central measurement unit.
