# Circontrol Charger

## Easily set up your Circontrol Charger with Smartmaster Pro using these recommended configuration steps.

To ensure a seamless connection between the Circontrol Charger and Smartmaster Pro, follow these recommended configuration steps. This setup optimizes communication and guarantees reliable performance.

### Configuration Tips

1. **Identification Method**:
   
     - In the **Device Setup Page**, select: 
           - **Plug & Charge** under **Identification Method**.
2. **Integration Type**:
   
     - In the **Device Setup Page**, choose: 
           - **OCPP 1.6 JSON** under **Integration**.
3. **Set Central System Host URL**:
   
     - Navigate to **OCPP Setup Page \> Central System**.
     - Enter the **Host URL** as follows:  
       `ws://{SMARTMASTER_IP_ADDR}:8834/ocpp`
4. **Configure Charge Box ID**:
   
     - Go to **OCPP Setup Page \> Charge Box**.
     - Enter the **name of the charging station** in the **ID** field.

These settings optimize the integration between the Circontrol Charger and Smartmaster Pro, ensuring secure and reliable communication. Proper selection of the identification method and integration type is crucial for smooth operation.
