Easily set up your Circontrol Charger with Smartmaster Pro using these recommended configuration steps.

To ensure a seamless connection between the Circontrol Charger and Smartmaster Pro, follow these recommended configuration steps. This setup optimizes communication and guarantees reliable performance.

Configuration Tips

  1. Identification Method:

    • In the Device Setup Page, select:
      • Plug & Charge under Identification Method.

  2. Integration Type:

    • In the Device Setup Page, choose:
      • OCPP 1.6 JSON under Integration.

  3. Set Central System Host URL:

    • Navigate to OCPP Setup Page > Central System.
    • Enter the Host URL as follows:
      ws://{SMARTMASTER_IP_ADDR}:8834/ocpp

  4. Configure Charge Box ID:

    • Go to OCPP Setup Page > Charge Box.
    • Enter the name of the charging station in the ID field.

These settings optimize the integration between the Circontrol Charger and Smartmaster Pro, ensuring secure and reliable communication. Proper selection of the identification method and integration type is crucial for smooth operation.
