# Changing Topology on Smartmaster Pro

## You can change the topology of an installed Smartmaster Pro and add new devices.

You can **change the topology** of an already installed **Smartmaster Pro** by adding or removing devices. This allows for flexible system configuration.

### How to Change Topology

- **Autonomous Changes**: The **installer** can make changes independently.
- **Adding New Devices**: 
    - **New devices** can be added to the topology as needed.
    - After adding devices, the **configuration needs to be synchronized**.

### Synchronizing Configuration

- Ensure all changes are saved.
- **Synchronize the configuration** through the platform to apply the changes.

This feature allows you to adapt your system’s topology as your requirements evolve.
