Set up your Bibus Charger with Smartmaster Pro easily using these recommended configuration steps.

To ensure a seamless connection between the Bibus Charger and Smartmaster Pro, follow these recommended configuration steps. This setup optimizes communication and guarantees reliable performance.

Configuration Tips

  1. Find the Current IP Address:

    • Locate the current IP address directly on the display of your station.
    • Enter this IP address into your web browser.
    • The Circontrol dashboard should now be displayed.

  2. Deactivate Plug & Charge:

    • By default, the Bibus station is set to Plug & Charge.
    • Deactivate this setting in the Charge Point Manager.

  3. Select OCPP Version:

    • Under Available Integrations, select:
      • OCPP 1.6J for communication with Smartmaster Pro.

  4. Name Configuration:

    • Ensure that the name of your Bibus charging station does not contain spaces.

  5. Set Host URL:

    • In the Central System section, set the Host URL to:
      ws://{SMARTMASTER_IP_ADDR}:8834/ocpp

  6. Meter Values Sample Interval:

    • Under OCPP Settings, configure the Meter Values Sample Interval.
    • Example: Set the interval to 60 seconds for accurate data collection.
