Set up your ABB Terra Charger with Smartmaster Pro using these configuration steps.

To ensure a seamless connection between the ABB Terra Charger and Smartmaster Pro, follow these recommended configuration steps. This setup optimizes communication and guarantees reliable performance.

Configuration Tips

  1. Use Serial Number as EVSE ID:

    • ABB chargers require the serial number to be used as the EVSE ID.
    • Locate the serial number on the charger label and enter it as the EVSE ID.

  2. Select the Right Internet Connection:

    • In the Terra Config Dashboard, navigate to:
      • Internet Connection
    • Choose the appropriate connection method to ensure network compatibility with Smartmaster Pro.

  3. Change OCPP Server URL:

    • In the Terra Config Dashboard, go to:
      • OCPP Server
    • Change the URL to:
      ws://{smartmaster_IP}:8834/ocpp

These settings ensure optimal integration between the ABB Terra Charger and Smartmaster Pro. Proper configuration of the EVSE ID and OCPP Server URL enhances connectivity and communication.
